怎么判断B与D？

D选项的being为什么奇怪？是因为不用being直接说over miles就可以了，所以加了being有点wordy吗？

最后就剩B和E了，两个比不出来，觉得B的was和extended貌似可以是并列的两个动词，所以就选B了 was和extended都是the greatest road systerm发出的啊
