Unlike the original National Museum of Science and Technology in Italy, where the models are encased in glass or operated only by staff members, the Virtual Leonardo Project, an online version of the museum, encourages visitors to "touch" each exhibit, which thereby activates the animated functions of the piece.

"When choosing whether to work in color or in black-~and-white, the photographer .  who wishes to be successful should keep in mind that because color photographs are more true-to-life, magazines use more color photographs than black-and-white ones ,and  many newspapers are also starting to use color photographs. The realism of color also accounts for the fact that  most portrait studios use more color film than black -and-white film. Furthermore, there are more types of color film than black-and-white film available today. Clearly, photographers who work in color have an advantage over those who work in black-and-white."

This argument describes a discrepancy between color photographs and blak-and-white ones, which concludes that work opportunities will favor photographers who work in color rather than those who work in black-and-white. The statement illustrates several comparisions between the two types of photographers' works to show the reasoning. 1, There is no further evidence whether "to be successful" is a broad or narrow meaning for the photographer. What can be called successful is yet to be discussed. 2, If the benchmarks for a photographer to be successful is to first bear in mind that color photogrphs are used by magazines, it still does not give evidence that what this type of magazines are and what target customers are for such magazines. Some other possible factors will also influence the reason that why these magazines prefer more color photgraphs than black-and-white ones. 3, If the fact were that magazines adored color photographs, it hardly shows any connections between the usage of color photographs in magazines and the adoption of color photographs in many newspapers. Again, we still do not know what kind of such newspapers is, and whether there is more space for black-and-white phtographs market. 4, Realism does to some extent reflect reality and most portrait stutuios prefer using these color film, nevertherless, there are other possibilities that many other group of people cherish the black-and-white film to see the real colorful world in a different way. 5, That more types of color film are availbale nowadays show no sings that people do not like black-and-white film today. So photographers who work in color may be successful, but it does not mean that photographers who work in black-and-white can not be successful as well. These two things are not against each other. These are two fields that have competence and uniqueness in different ways. So in conclusion, the whole statement arbitrarily define a photographer's success in work by using a standard whether he use color film or black-and-while one. This criterium can not solely consist of the success for a photographer's work.

The following appeared in a memorandum from a regional supervisor of post office operations.

"During a two-week study of pestal operations, the Presto City post office handled about twice as many items as the Lento City post office, even though the cities are about the same size. Moreover, customer satisfaction appears to be higher in Presto City, since the study found fewer complaints regarding the Presto city post office. Therefore, the postmasters at these two offices should exchange assignments: the Presto Coty postmaster will solve the problems of inefficiency and customer dissatisfaction at the Lento City office while the Lento City postmaster learns first-hand the superior methods of Presto City."

Exposure to certain chemicals commonly used in elementary schools as cleaners or pesticides causes allergic reactions in some children. Elementary school nurses in Renston report that the proportion of schoolchildren sent to them for treatment of allergic reactions to those chemicals has increased significantly over the past ten years. Therefore, either Renston’s schoolchildren have been exposed to greater quantities of the chemicals, or they are more sensitive to them than schoolchildren were ten years ago.

Which of the following is an assumption on which the argument depends?
