还是在BE对比方面，我做题的时候思路如下：
排除了其他的选项，剩下BE,第一次做的时候，觉得E中的“the”让语义感觉更准确，明确了就是这500个物种中99%消失。
但是还有另外一个区别迷惑了我：B中是appeared，have vanished，感觉两个动作在时间上有区分，语义是：过去存在的，现在灭绝了。但是E中两个动作没有区分，觉得语义和B相比，有些不精确。
我觉得在考场上我可能不能察觉到E更利于读者理解这个问题，请老师指正。谢谢。
