请问老师E和D之间为什么E好呢？ 我以为E有个硬伤是连用了and 和 so，这两个都是连词，连词能一起连着用吗？
D哪里不好呢？thus做副词，和后面连上就是thus restricted...我以为这个是做同位语修饰挺好的。

通过语义简洁性排除了ABC，觉得E读起来更顺选对了。虽然选对了，但还是想了解一下thus和and以及and thus的用法。另外，哪些是GMAT常考的并列连词? 除了and，both..and, either..or..,neither..nor作为并列连词出现时要保持前后句义对应以外，还有哪些呢？希望老师系统的讲一下~~
D选项：thus是不是只能放在句首引导一个独立句子，不能像D选项thus直接加restricted（该分句无主语，且restricted不是动词，只是非谓语）?

觉得B好 it指代metamorphose的过程,必须要清晰的用代词指代说出来不能省略 后面两个it都指代离的近的yellow-legged frog.
E 我觉得they没有必要说,因为动作发起者都是yellow-legged frog 加代词they显得罗嗦
