请问E选项错在哪里？应该不能通过划线外other immigrant group 就直接排除ADE吧，因为E后面是those of,也是rate和rate 的比较呀？

我在BC里纠结，为什么这题的B不对？

想请教Tina老师，这个问题和本题关系不太大，是由b选项的exceeding想到的，就是n. of n.的形式后面修饰语修饰的对象可以越过of向前找，可以是of前面那个名词，那修饰对象既可以是前一个名词也可以是后一个名词，如果没有明确的提示（比如单复数），会造成歧义吗？比如这个题，如果没有比较对象这个错误的话，只看exceeding存在修饰歧义吗？什么情况下是歧义，什么情况下可以向前找修饰对象呢？不知道如何把握，请老师指点。还有，逗号后加现在分词形式Tina老师在课上讲它的发出者是主语或整句，我听录音里别的老师有说它也可以修饰宾语的，是什么样的情况呢？如果也可以修饰宾语，那什么情况下会造成修饰宾语还是主语或整句的歧义呢？谢谢老师！

为什么B不对，我觉得C不对，这里就是 Immigrants from mideast 和 other immigrant 对比，没必要加those，如果those指代的是 rates,那就是 mideast mimigrants 和 rate of other immigrants做对比，不一致吧？

这道题上来就把c排除了，不知道怎么可以exhibit rates啊？然后选了B，比知道怎么读意思来判断？
