我在C、E之间纠结，首先根据句子的逻辑关系排除了其他选项，留了C\E，问题是C选项前面的it指代的是整件事，而后面its指代的是公司，这里矛盾了，但问题是，如果去掉了it则proven或默认发起者是逗号之前整件事，但是后面paying in 的工作发起者应该是公司，这不是也相互矛盾。我知道要选一个相对正确的即可，但是这个在我看来他们都存在问题很难取舍

我当时的想法有三个问题：第一，我觉得falling不合适，因为好像没有正在进行发工资的意思，而是先没法处理营业额增长后没法发工资的。第二，我想着it没有歧义，而且it说出来是不让人猜，比proving好了。第三，被it proves。。。。迷惑了，感觉读起来挺顺的，其实是不对的，现在明白了这一点。前两点请老师解答。谢谢：）
